Hi!
We hope everyone is doing well in these difficult times. We would firstly like to apologise for not putting an update out for a while is been quite a challenging time for the whole team, but that is no excuse for not raising our heads. We would like to thank everyone for their amazing support of our game over the past year.
We do have some good news to share. After months of back and forth we have finally managed to sew up the last part of the Pet Evil fulfilment, quite literally. The Pet Evil plushies are finally in production! This has been an ongoing issue since we first announce there was a delay in their production. We will not bore you with all the details, but the long and short of it is they are being completed.
We have been advised by the manufacturer that they should be ready in November, but knowing the current state of global shipping, we are estimating finally shipping in December.

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and comfortable during this difficult time. As you know the situation around the world has unfortunately not improved as we had first wished it would. We have been working behind the scenes and apologise for not updating you sooner. Our support team has been taking care of any requests and we’ve been working hard to make sure everyone has their copy of Pet Evil!
The good news is... we have now managed to achieve this! If all went to plan you should now be the proud owner of Pet Evil. It’s time to start annihilating your family and friends!
One of our biggest challenges had been the playmats shipping into the UK from the United States. Unfortunately, due to the numerous flight cancellations and delays in air freight, our shipment got held up at JFK airport for weeks until they eventually got returned to our US fulfilment centre. Talking to our US partner Studio 71 we came to the decision that, although more expensive, the quickest way to get you your game was to ship the remaining pledges direct from the US. This should not have changed how you received your shipment, but please do get in touch at http://studio71games.com/contact if you have had issues receiving the shipment from the US.
Due to the decision to ship from the US, the current delays in manufacturing and the availability of Joe to get access to the Pet Evil stock to be able to sign items, we have had to ship some pledges in part. A list of the remaining items to ship, per pledge level can be seen below:

Pet Evil Arriving Soon!
We've had reports that Pet Evil is reaching peoples doorsteps right now! Make sure to keep an eye out as a lot of postal services have now moved to contact-less deliveries. We all hope you are still safe and well. Below you'll find a by region overview of Pet Evils shipping progress, please bear in mind there will unforeseen delays caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
- US: 99% of orders have now shipped. Orders that contain signed copies of Pet Evil are delayed as Joe our designer is stuck inside without copies to sign!
- UK and International: Wave 1 shipping is complete. This included all orders with just Pet Evil. Please check below for an update on wave 2 shipping.
The Stretch goal Mini Expansion - Don't panic if you can't find it in your shipment. It's inside your copy of Pet Evil :D
General Hops Backers - Please double check for emails from us as we are still awaiting some responses.
Late Backerkit Surveys - We still have 32 incomplete Backerkit surveys! Please make sure you double check your emails and spam folder. We need your survey completed to send you your game!

We regretfully inform you that in light of the unprecedented global events surrounding COVID-19 that the Pet Evil EU, UK and International Wave 2 shipments have temporally been suspended. The following pledge tiers are part of this wave:

Our fulfilment partner has informed us that due to the current UK government guidelines they have taken the decision to suspend fulfilment operations to protect the safety and well being of their staff. We’re shipping!
We hope everyone’s keeping safe and well in this unprecedented time. To brighten the mood we thought this would be a great time to get Pet Evil into your hands. Check out the per region mission overview below:
- US: Shipping has begun! Please expect a tracking email very soon.
o Shipments should take 2 to 7 days.
- UK and International: Shipping is almost ready! We will be shipping orders from the UK in two waves. Wave one will include all orders without additional items. The second wave will include all remaining orders. This is due to an unforeseen delay in the playmat delivery.
o UK orders should take 2-4 working days.
o EU orders should be taking 5-14 days.
o International orders should take 10-14 days.
If you haven’t had a shipping notification email yet don’t panic! We’re sending out orders as fast as we can, but due to the recent unprecedented events around the world there may be unexpected delays. Please bear this in mind when you contact any of our customer service channels.

Super Awesome Shipping Update

Firstly, we’d like to wish a speedy recovery to everyone who is currently caught up in the coronavirus. We hope they are safe and staying well.
We are lucky to say that there has been little impact to our shipping schedule, any backers that are affected will be emailed individually. In fact, are excited to report we are ahead of our already advance schedule! You may have noticed your Pet Evil pledge in Backerkit was locked for fulfilment, here's why…
Our Evil Pet agents have reported top secret cartons arriving at our US hub, with packaging components being constructed as we speak. As for our EU launch location, the team is on standby to receive their delivery. More informative from the EU silo as we get it.
It's now looking like an all-out pre-emptive strike against our schedule. We’re hovering over the launch button, it's only weeks away.
Here’s are current update by location:
- UK and Europe – GamesQuest is due to receive Pet Evil by the end of February, but we have been advised high winds are delaying container unloading at port. So, there may be a slight delay on the goods arrival.
- USA – Our US shipping partner 3PL has received the games and is preparing to ship US orders. Launch is imminent!
- Rest of World– GamesQuest will also be handling our rest of world orders. Please note once ready to ship these orders may take longer to arrive due to the extra distance!
